West Cambridge Youth Center
From Points South & West via Mass Pike:
- Take I-90/Mass Pike to Exit 20, Cambridge/Alston.
- Follow the exit to the right at the split
- At the major intersection, take a left onto Storrow Drive
- Follow Storrow Drive/Soldiers Field Road about a mile and stay right.
- Take exit for Arlington Rt2, Rt3, Fresh Pond Parkway
- Cross Bridge, Bear right, and stay left. Follow signs for Rt 3/"Fresh Pond Parkway"
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Cross Brattle St. (major intersection)
- Turn left on Huron Ave.
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Swing City is at the W. Cambridge Youth Center about 1/2 mile on the left.
- Park on the street or in the golf club lot across the street.
From I-93 via Storrow Drive (eastern suburbs, or Boston):
- Take Exit 26 to Storrow Drive.
- Follow Storrow Drive for 5miles along the Charles River. Stay right when you get to the Harvard University area.
- Take exit for Arlington Rt2, Rt3, Fresh Pond Parkway
- Cross Bridge, Bear right, and stay left. Follow signs for Rt 3/"Fresh Pond Parkway"
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Cross Brattle St. (major intersection)
- Turn left on Huron Ave.
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Swing City is at the W. Cambridge Youth Center about 1/2 mile on the left.
- Park on the street or in the golf club lot across the street.
From S. Cambridge/MIT/Harvard
- Take Memorial Drive to Rt. 3/Fresh Pond Pwy split.
- Follow signs for Rt 3/"Fresh Pond Parkway"
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Cross Brattle St. (major intersection)
- Turn left on Huron Ave.
- Cross Mt. Auburn St. (major intersection)
- Swing City is at the W. Cambridge Youth Center about 1/2 mile on the left.
- Park on the street or in the golf club lot across the street.
From Points North via Rt. 2/Alewife/Arlington/N. Cambridge
- Take Rt. 2 or local roads to Alewife
- Proceed on Fresh Pond Parkway/Rt. 3 inbound
- Pass through two rotaries, follow Rt. 3.
- Turn right on Huron Ave. (next major intersection, at top of uphill after 2nd rotary)
- Swing City is at the W. Cambridge Youth Center about 1/2 mile on the left.
- Park on the street or in the golf club lot across the street.
From Points North/East via I-93 to Rt. 16/Alewife/Arlington/N. Cambridge
- Note: RT 16 can get busy in rush hour, but it's much shorter than going all the way around to Storrow Drive.
- I-93 Exit 32, Follow Rt. 60 West (aka Salem St) to Medford Center Intersection, aprox. 1/3 mi. (Forrest St. is the intersection)
- Turn left on Forrest St, cross river
- Take right, onramp to Rt. 16 West, to Alewife (3-4 miles)
- At Alewife, proceed left onto Fresh Pond Parkway/Rt. 3 inbound/South.
- Pass through two rotaries, follow Rt. 3.
- Turn right on Huron Ave. (next major intersection, at top of uphill after 2nd rotary)
- Swing City is at the W. Cambridge Youth Center about 1/2 mile on the left.
- Park on the street or in the golf club lot across the street.
